if i am not intruding on your style too much may i ask in which order you do the paint vs. the sharpie? it seems that every time i write on top of a painting it dries my marker up way too fast and just wanted to know if that happens to you.

i do sharpie, then paint, then I go over certain areas again with the markers... the over layer definitely chews up the markers a bit, but i have probably 100 sharpies lying around so I can always grab a new one haha...

thanks a lot, ive been only using a little sharpie on my paintings to touch them up.now if i decide there will need to be any large black areas ill do those first. Also, i think the fact that i use watercolor paper tears them up a bit more, i do like bristol board but i got a really good deal on a roll of coldpress so thats all im using right now lol.
